Cold burning: I think most of us can agree your calf sensation is related to nerve irritation. In this case, it was probably not severe. Since it occurred after sitting, it may be from the sciatic nerve, the popliteal nerve, or a lumbar nerve root. It is hard to know. Regardless, it should not last long, and may recover. Don't know: I have never heard of burning in forearm veins unless something has been injected into them. Assuming you are not doing that (and maybe especially if you are) then you should see a clinician to find the cause of this and the leg cramps. Probably need blood tests as well.
