Gynecomastia?: If you have a lump behind your nipple, it is probably gynecomastia. This is development of breast tissue in a male and it is often tender. ?: Dear, it is impossible to tell based on your description. Many musculoskeletal, skin, or neuropathic conditions can cause these funky, hard to describe pains in different areas. Breast cancer (which is what most would be worried about) seems unlikely but even then, it is impossible to say much without an exam. Positioning: Examine your breast in that area for redness or swelling. Since this seems to be positional, it is possible that the baby is not getting a proper latch in this position. Take care at your next feeding to be sure baby opens wide and that the tip of your nipple is in the back of his mouth. Unlikely: Heart pain doesn't cause constant pain for 2 days - not even a full fledged heart attack lasts that long. Pain confined to the right breast is also so unusual as to make one strongly consider a different diagnosis. ...Read more
