Burning Sensation In My Nose Symptoms
I have been having anxiety problems all day. Is warmness in left ear a symptom of my anxiety and the burning sensation in my nose and ears?
A burning sensation can be descriptive of nerve pain, some variations of migraine, and even central brain problems after a stroke. Have heard this said associated with phantom limb syndrome, reflex sympatheric dystrophy, and trigeminal neuralgia. Other patients might say ...Read more
CN V distribution: The nose is innervated by cranial nerve 5 and travels to the pons (part of the brainstem). It is broken down into 3 branches and the second branch (v2) innervates the nose. Causes of dysfunction of cn v are numerous and a partial list includes structural causes (chiari malformation, head trauma) and metabolic causes (b12 deficiency, diabetes) plus others. Please see your doctor for an evaluatio.

What could cause me to have a burning sensation in my nose like you get when water goes up your nose while swimming except I'm not swimming?
Possible allergy: Possible allergy or irritant. Check with doctor.

I have a burning sensation in my nose and above my right eye after blowing my nose. I have had a head cold for a couple days, Yellow mucus.
? Sinus infection: Possible sinus infection can cause all your symptoms. Perhaps a full exam and history in person can confirm this finding. Good luck
I blew my nose it's stuffy and I felt rush of air it's ringing is this normal it's small burning sensation?
Stuffy nose: Yes all normal with a stuffy nose
Requires exam: And direct observation, evaluation, testing, diagnosed and treated.
Burning sensation: In the nose should pass. You can flush with sterile water with head tilted forward. Wear nose plugs to prevent chlorine from getting in there next time. If the problem persists past 12 hours see a doctor.
Dry patches on my face do not itch sometimes they scale over and ooze. Burning sensation to the touch mostly on my cheeks and nose?
Broad differential: Cannot answer this without seeing the rash, but given the distribution being on the cheeks and nose, would recommend seeing a doctor to make sure this is not a rash associated with autoimmune disorders. Since this is oozing at times and burning, would also recommend avoiding direct sun exposure and wearing a wide rim hat until this is evaluated further.
What would cause a burning sensation in my middle lower nose (along the front of nose) after taking a drink of water? It felt as if I got water in my nose but didn't feel any - just a sensation.
Ice cream headache?: Very common phenomenon when eating/drinking very cold stuff. There are other much less common possibilities, none likely.
An infection: Or an irritation of the airways. If it continues see your doctor, .
Nasal congestion/ear: May be TMJ (temporomandibular joint) syndrome (do you feel cracking when placing fingers in front of ears and opening mouth?) or possibly gastrointestinal reflux -can try prevacid /ranitidine if not allergic or just an upper respiratory infection or sinusitis/otitis. Rarely can even be lyme disease. F/U with doc
I'm having bad sinus pain for over a week. When I bend over, I get a burning sensation up my nose to my head. What is that and how to treat?
Acute Sinusitis: Acute sinusitis is associated with facial pressure, nasals congestion, fevers, and often sore throat or cough. If your symptoms have persisted longer than a week, or have gotten worse after you seemed to be improving you may need to be treated with antibiotics. Otherwise, I recommend Mucinex (guaifenesin) 1200mg 2x daily with a large glass of water. A tablespoon of honey works excellent for cough.See 1 more doctor answer
Burning sensation inside nose nose as if I have a cold. I need to sneeze too but I can't ever exhale it. Happens in groups. Causes?
How long?: Has this been happening for weeks? Have you been using OTC decongestant sprays for many days on your nose? Have you been near anyone with a cold within a few days prior to the onset of your nasal symptoms? We need these info before we can venture a guess.
Burning sensation on left side of face, started from inside nose to eye. Now its a line of burning sensation from my eye through my nose down my chin?
Facial pain: Although most likely this is not serious, I suggest you see your doctor for adequate diagnosis. Rarely, in young woman, the immune system can turn against our own myelin of the central nervous system. This may manifest as an intense facial pain (trigeminal neuralgia in demyelinating disorder). Once again, is rare, but worth discussing with your physician. He may decide MRI testing is necessary.
