Paraspinal Muscles?: The location is the paraspinal muscles that position the spine. Since changing positions helps then likely muscular. Or maybe arthritis in the spinal facet joints or worn out discs can cause discomfort like this. BUT very unusual at 21 years old. I have severe arthritis in my spine. Not getting surgery.
