I was diagnosid with Lyme disease over a month ago now my lower leg hurt and when im walking it feels as if I have weights on my legs they are heavy?
How were you treated: I am not sure what your question is! Lyme can cause virtually any symptom, including yours. When you were diagnosed how long did they think you had it? If you had just been bitten I advise 200 mg Doxycycline 2x/day for 30 days but most docs under-treat. If you've had it longer antibiotics are usually not enough to treat chronic lyme. It's important to see a doctor with expertise in lyme. See comment:. ...Read more

My daughter has lyme disease, her muscles in her legs hurt bad...like she's worked out,,,she's been workn long hours and look tired?
Lymes: Well the first question is when was she diagnosed and did she get treatment right away? Sounds to me she has the lymes for a while and perhaps did not get immediate treatment so now she is getting the flare-ups. You need for her to see a doctor for treatment right away. This is a progressive disease and she can gave some serious affects without medical attention ...Read more
Could knee, foot, calf, and leg pain be caused my Lyme disease or mono or ra? What types of tests should I have? I do have a back history
Cannot diagnose: You need to be thoroughly evaluated and to communicate effectively with the doctor(s) seeing you. This cannot be done long distance over the internet. Make a detailed list of all your symptoms, the sequence in which they occur and their relationships with each other and take this with all you prior medical records to either a rheumatologist or an infectious diseases doctor. Good luck. ...Read more
I have red itchy spots randomly all over my legs, stomach & chest. They itch horribly. I do have Lyme disease could it be related or other causes?!
Not sure of the:
Context. Lyme disease is an infection. It can have a rash and would need treatment. Mostly people mean "I think I might have had lyme disease sometime in the past". And the organism would certainly be entirely gone with treatment. While one can have an injury from it, it is less likely to have rash from treated lyme than treated gunshot wound.
THen, inflammations, infections, circulatory issues . ...Read more

What do I have burning in my feet and I googled it and is says it could be AIDS Lyme disease diabetes I'm scared?
My husband has a tick bite with a really bad burning feeling and black spot under the skin where he pulled the tick out. Could he have Lyme disease?
Does pheriferal neuropathy caused by Lyme disease go away by itself after healing lyme? My left foot is burning... I can't get no sleep because of it
See a neurologist: This is one situation in which I would urge a 2nd opinion with a neurologist if you have not already seen one. If the neuropathy is related to lyme disease (and imo that is a large "if") the injury to the nerves heals very slowly. A neurologist would rule out other causes and offer you meds which are often very helpful in minimizing the symptoms. ...Read more

Quite a few disease conditions can cause burning sensation in your feet. Neuropathy (disease of the nerve) can be from diabetes, certain vitamin deficiencies (b6, B1 etc.), some medications/drugs, HIV diseases, multiple sclerosis, nerve compressions from back, or even just Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)--which I suspect most likely cause for you. I advise consulting doc to find out ASAP.

I pulled a tick from behind my knee 3 days ago. So far I have not experienced any symptoms. Should I still be concerned about Lyme disease?
Ixodes scapularis: You do need to make sure it wasn't a deer tick. They are very small.compared to dog ticks for example. Do you still have the tick or did you discard it? If you have it, bring it to your PCP. F there's any question that it could be a deer tick, I would treat with doxycycline just to make sure. ...Read more
3 small nonspecific lesions. Lyme disease negative. Now being tested for nerve damage and memory loss, all that's left is stroke and ms, limbs tingle?
MS is possible: Assume you have 3 small brain white matter lesions, but your sensory symptoms and memory issues, could well be a sign of ms, or prior strokes. Can sort out by getting MRI of neck and MRI of gray matter using dir techniques, as extra lesion on these films could confirm ms. Maybe spinal fluid would help. Talk with your doctor, should be able to pin down. ...Read more

More evaluation: If your symptoms worsen with exertion (claudication), you may need an evaluation for peripheral arterial disease (PAD). Bite of infected tic: Lime disease is spread by ticks that have acquired the germ in the past and it stays in their system.
