Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts. If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain. My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx. Tarsal tunnel: One possibility is that you might have tarsal tunnel syndrome. This a compression neuropathy similar to carpal tunnel syndrome in the hand. One has to see if there is any foot anatomic defect which is causing more pressure along that tibial nerve. I would recommend seeing a pmr doctor who specializes in this or a podiatrist. Sharp aching pains in right ankle. Slight swelling. Tingling and numbness in right leg/foot. Can bend foot up and down no pain. Burning sensation.
A few things: It could be due to plantar fasciitis, an injury, overuse, worn out shoes, tarsal tunnel syndrome (think carpal tunnel but at the ankle level instead of wrist), arthritis, peripheral neuropathy due to radiculopathy (spinal nerve issues) or medical reasons (such as diabetes, thyroid or circulatory issues). Ankle Inflammation: What did you do? Sounds like a common sprain, and i know some people forgot a minor twist until 2 days later when the symptoms develop. Do rice--rest (avoid irritating it), ice pack 3 times daily for 10 minutes, compression 24/7, and as much elevation as you can. Sensation of something in lower left abdominal area without bulge, soreness, pain in testes. feeling tightness in left thigh sometimes down to foot.
Could be hernia.: A hernia could exist without a discernible bulge. The other symptoms are consistent with a hernia. Could also be kidney stone, an issue with the sigmoid colon, pelvic lymph node enlargement...in short, you need some testing.
