Can acid reflux cause burning sensation in left shoulder and arm pit chest area. If I touch where it hurts it hurts worse?
No, this isn't GERD: This symptoms constellation is not consistent with reflux disease. It should be checked out just the same. The fact that the pain is worse when you touch the area suggests that it is either musculoskeletal or nerve pain. Is it related to meals? I'm wondering why you are associating this with reflux? The best way to approach this is to visit with your doc and have an exam done with some tests. ...Read more

Snap Crackle Pop...:
That sounds like an unstable shoulder joint and needs to be examined by a good shoulder doctor (orthopedist)
However, something like that just doesn't appear. Did you injure it? Exercise it a lot? If not, it would be unusual at your age to have an unstable shoulder. However, it CAN happen to anyone. The tendons, ligaments or cartilage may have worn down or torn, so go see someone about it. ...Read more

Burning sensation on skin of upper arm/shoulder for 2 weeks, but nothing there, skin looks completely normal. No rashes or other symptoms. What is it?
Neuropathy: Sounds like a nerve problem, so we'd call it neuropathy. It can be caused by anything damaging a nerve. Shingles or herpes can do this, but if it has been going on for 2 weeks I'd expect there to be spots or bumps or something showing on the skin by now. It can also be caused by your immune system attacking the nerve or by the nerve being pinched in your spine or elsewhere. See your doc for help. ...Read more
