Cold burning: I think most of us can agree your calf sensation is related to nerve irritation. In this case, it was probably not severe. Since it occurred after sitting, it may be from the sciatic nerve, the popliteal nerve, or a lumbar nerve root. It is hard to know. Regardless, it should not last long, and may recover.
