They help us express ourselves by changing the shape of our ...Read more
I have weakness to my 6th nerve muscle and the past week I've had burning sensation on top and back of head. Can this be related?
May or may not: Main issue is the cause of your Abducens palsy, and if you have inflammatory disorder of meninges due to any cause, the burning could be associated due to involvement of trigeminal or greater occipital nerves. If your N VI issue is congenital or post-traumatic, then there is NO relationship.
Pressure/ burning sensation in head either top or back of head everyday. Body weakness, slurred speech, neck ache, fatigue, muscle aches? Thanks
Fibromyalgia?: 27 yo female c/o daily head discomfort, "body weakness, slurred speech, fatigue, muscle aches" & cervical pain. Assuming these symptoms are chronic & not an acute viral illness or related to trauma, a general medical exam is needed to rule out systemic disorders & autoimmune disease. If no distinct findings, then see a Rheumatologist to be considered for possible Fibromyalgia.See 1 more doctor answer
Muscle weakness, spasms/twitching, pain, numbness& tingling, foot drop, vision&hearing issues, skin burning sensation, all only r. side of body head to toe.?
See neurologist: Your neurologic symptoms are concerning, You should see a neurologist to evaluate for multiple sclerosis or other neurologic condition.
See a Neurologist: A neurologist may be able to help you differentiate the cause of your symptoms. Usually with muscle fatigue, this is associated with excessive use of the muscles that leads them to have the generalized burning and fatigue. Nerves tend to follow patterns of distribution, so that one may have the discomfort in a particular limb. There are special tests that may be done by the neurologist.
What do you suggest if I have burning sensation in my body, is it nerve problem or chronic muscle fatigue?

Small lump in bak of nek, had for two months, now muscle twinges, feels like swelling and burning sensation. What could it b? +sensitive to touch
Need to see it: The most likely cause would be a cyst, but it requires an exam by a doctor to tell for sure. If it is a cyst, sometimes they swell or get infected and require an operation. This operation is much easier on you if it is done while it is still small. Tell your doctor about it.
I have a burning sensation and pain that feels almost like a pulled muscle on the right side of my chest. What could be some of the possibilities? Thx
Have it looked at: While a pulled pectoral muscle may cause pain and abnormal sensation, it's important to have it looked at to make sure it's not from an underlying cardiac condition. One differentiating factor is the muscle pain is oftentimes reproducible - if you push on it, it will hurt more - whereas cardiac pain may not be. However, without knowing further details - it's importan to see your internist/fp soon.
What causes a burning sensation in the viens in my fore arms? Also the muscles in my calfs keep locking up.
Don't know: I have never heard of burning in forearm veins unless something has been injected into them. Assuming you are not doing that (and maybe especially if you are) then you should see a clinician to find the cause of this and the leg cramps. Probably need blood tests as well. Meanwhile, keep your arms above your heart level and try some heat on them as well as your leg muscles to see if it helps.

Muscle or nerve: Muscle 'pulls' or strains can be irritated when you stretch or use the muscle. Tight muscles can also pull on the local nerves causing burning with stretch. Other times, nerve irritation can cause burning when the leg is pulled. A physiatrist or doctor of physical medicine and rehabilitation can help determine the cause and recommend treatment.
Ben gay: You can try over the counter anti-inflammatory or ben-gay. You can also try ibuprofen. A heat compress helps some as well. See your physician if you have further problems.
Dehydration: You must hydrate before and during outside work.
