Possible but...: Anxiety can produce tingling, numbness, and other uncomfortable sensations. The burning pain you describe is not the most typical for anxiety and you need to have a physician rule out problems in your cervical spine, neck and upper back muscles, and occipital nerves. ...Read more

Infection would be unlikely to affect both earlobes simultaneously. A form of autoimmunity can attack cartilage, but unlikely to only effect the ear lobes.
