Possibly: Possibly from the strap or tightness from the heels and more likely from walking at fast pace at work too. The swelling from your feet can press against the straps in your heels to impingement sensation at the superficial nerves on your foot. Not sure how burning traveled benefit your legs to calves and then to the front again of your knees. ...Read more

Tarsal tunnel: One possibility is that you might have tarsal tunnel syndrome. This a compression neuropathy similar to carpal tunnel syndrome in the hand.
