I have burning sensation in my head and face. My adrenaline seems off, too, and I'm overstimulated. Too much saliva. Diagnosis?
No fun: Usually burning sensations are not good, and among the list of things that cause more saliva are infection, poisoning, palsy, std, etc. In some cases extra saliva is transient and not associated with anything bad. My first inclination is that you have an allergist or neurologist check out your sensations for definitive diagnosis. I certainly hope you find out soon then repost so we can learn. Read more

Atypical symptom: Burning in such a large area of your body is atypical. Most likely there is some other non nervous system related explanation. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I'm having a burning sensation at the back of my head. What is it? I have no medical history for this before or related to it.
Have someone look: It is either a skin (scalp) problem or muscle spasms such as neck. Have someone look and tell you if there's a rash or redness or hair loss. Otherwise pinch your shoulder and neck muscles to see if you get the same burning pain. In which case You could try acetaminophen or nonprescription analgesic.I don't think it would be a problem in the cranial bone or in the brain (in case you are wondering). Read more
