Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts. If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain. My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx. Buttock pain could be coming from back, hip or SI joint. Further w/u needed. ...Read more

I have persistent   burning pain,  weeknes, tingling sensation in my arms and fingers.

Eval.: Bilateral paresthesias with weakness requires emg/ncv of the upper extremities. I would also obtain MRI of cervical spine to rule out hnp or cord compression. Cxr is useful . Carpal tunnel syndrome can be bilateral; physical exam and EMG can help diagnose. Look at myofascial pain, such as pronator syndrome , which is secondary to overuse.Also labwork for connective tissue disease panel. ...Read more
