Burning sensation in buttocks on both sides for 4 months . No redness , skin looks completely normal. It increases and decreases but doesn't go away?
You may try a different type of underwear, different fabric and different style. When you launder the underwear, give extra rinse to ensure that there is no soap residue.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Need more info: Back pain is multifactorial. More historical information, examination & possible lab/radiographic studies are needed to really nail down the cause.
