I'm having a burning sensation in the tendons located behind my knee. It hurts when i stand and feel as if they will cramp up.

See your pcp: 'burning' pain in the popliteal fossa( behind the knee) and when u stand up sounds like you've irritated your hamstrings.Possibly u strained them somehow w/o knowing about it. Also, popliteal cysts can cause this pain as well.These are seen commonly w/ knee problems like a cartilage tear. See your pcp and possibly referral to orthopedic surgeon. Best of luck! ...Read more

Unlikely: Although it is possible to be a dvt, the us would tell for sure. It is most likely a popliteal cyst commonly called a bakers cyst. They do sometimes cause symptoms like you describe. An orthopedist can treat this for you. ...Read more
