May take time: It may take some time for the sinusitis to clear. Thus you may have the pain for awhile. Sometimes, if the antibiotics are not sufficient, it may be necessary to see an ENT specialist who may be able to drain out some of the mucus via endoscopy. This may help to decrease the sinusitis and make the antibiotics more effect.

My eyes got exposed to flash welding. They now hurt and I have a burning sensation in my eyes. What should I do?

Flash burns: You should wear protective eye wear when welding. It you have irritation and it is mild, you can try preservative free artificial tears (bion tears, thera tears, systane, and systane gel, etc.) one drop up to every 30-60 minutes. If worse or not getting better, you need to be seen by an eye specialist, to ensure not foreign bodies or infection developing, that could cause permanent vision loss.

I have been getting a burning sensation in my eyes, like a heat wave and then I feel nauseated. What can cause this?

Surface problems: Burning in the eyes usually is due to dry eyes or a lid condition known as blepharitis. It is safe to try warm compresses over the eyes when it burns and use of artificial tears sold over the counter. If it persists, an eye doctor may prescribe prescription strength medications, so see an ophthalmolgist if the above doesn't work.

Hello, I have been experiencing some burning sensation on the corner of my eyelid and I am not sure what it could be. I have been rubbing my eyes too.

Angular blepharitis: This is angular blepharitis. Use some petroleum based ointment over the red area and see if it will go away. Try NOT to rub. Use cold compresses to ease itching. See eye doctor if this fails. Best wishes.
