Help please! Could colon cancer cause abdominal burning sensation?

Not generally

Abdomen
Colon cancer usually does not cause any symptoms until it obstructs, bleeds or perforates. A contained perforation causes pain, but is not characterized as burning, more likely as a constant sharp pain. If you are concerned about abdominal pain, you need to see your physician ASAP.

Burning sensation in my lower right abdominal, what could this be?

Abdomen pain ddx

Abdomen
it could be related to your ovary; constipation; appendix; colon; or something less worrisome like a pulled muscle. You'd be a little young for diverticular problem and you'd be pretty sick if it were bowel obstruction. I'd be more worried if you were having fevers or vomiting.

Hi, for the pass 2 years I'm having very bad burning sensation on my right side abdomen ?

Abdomen
2 years is along time to be dealing with a burning pain in your abdominal area. See a Dr and get some testing to determine what is causing your sensations. Diverticular disease is a possibility, but a good colon exam, including a screening scope can be diagnostic. If your colonoscopy is normal, than you can look at other possible causes. As stated, a good exam and some testing will help you.

I had a tooth extracted and now am getting black stools & burning sensation around my anus please advise I was on Ciplox TZ, IMOLplus and Rantac ?

Bleeding

Anus
Black stools suggest blood has entered your digestive tract. If you are swallowing a lot of blood after your extraction, it could be the cause of the stool quality. If your mouth is not bleeding it could be something in your stomach or colon and it should be evaluated by a physician ASAP

Dr. Martin Raff answered:

What causes a burning sensation while passing gas? I've had this on and off. Some stomach aches while this is going on but it's also on and off.

See a GI doctor

Flatulence
Inflammation at the distal colon, the rectum or anus can produce discomfort when passing gas. Do not know whether or not the stomach aches are related, but the gastroenterologist will be quite able to work this out. Hope you are better soon.

Been having sharp pains and burning sensation in left side and upper center of stomach area. But no gas. What could this be?

LLQ abdominal pain

Passing_gas
This is usually related to the colon if it only happens from time to time it could be related to constipation. If it happens frequently it could be related to irritable bowel syndrome. Both are benign conditions. High fiber diet with lots of fruits and vegetables would be helpful.

Stomach pain on left side of navel. Sometimes accompanied by burning sensation. Lack of apetite, no vomiting or fever. No gallbladder. What is it?

Location of Symptoms

Open-uri20120809-28298-q9y92x
The location of the symptoms is in the region of the stomach and pancreas. Would be good to try and figure out when/why symptoms are arising and see if there is a consistent trigger for them (eg. does it get worse/better when you eat?). In general a loss of appetite and consistent pain warrant an evaluation with doctor.
