Probably reflux gast: Alcohol is notorious for causing excess acid production & reflux. These would explain the burning symptoms you experience. NO imaging test can detect reflux, since it is a physiologic problem (in the way stomach functions) not an anatomic one. The best test is the Bravo probe, but other esophageal pH monitoring techniques are possible. Have your doc use it to confirm diagnosis & get treated soon!See 1 more doctor answer

See a doctor: A burning sensation on the lower right side is about as non-specific a symptom you could have. It could be one of dozens of things. Burning sensation after I eat and drink alcohol. From my past history as you can see anything related? I get a lot of acid reflux t
GERD: Don't see any past history, but drinking alcohol and acid reflux are words that do not belong in the same sentence. Alcohol lowers the pressure of the lower esophageal sphincter and clearly makes gerd worse! Reccurrence of sx after alcohol suggests a rather chronic irritative process. Cut out alcohol. Use omepraole once daily for about two weeks and see if you can dodge symptoms recurrence.
Bad idea!: Recent studies suggest that taking a great deal of artificial sweetener can cause a range of symptoms reduce or stop your intake and see the effect.See 1 more doctor answer
