Burning sensation and pain in lower right leg, numbing sensation in foot, pinching sensation in hip ? No back pain.
Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts. If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain. My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx. Buttock pain could be coming from back, hip or SI joint. Further w/u needed. ...Read more

Where above ankle?: Where specifically are you "touching". And, what do you mean by "touching". There are nerves that pass by the ankle and if they are irritated they can produce "dysesthesias" with light pressure. Make notes of precise location and then see your doctor to correlate. An underlying mood disorder will tend to make you more prone to these things, with less found on exam. ...Read more

Gastrointestinal infections can cause pain, nausea, vomiting, and fever. A doctor's exam is needed. ...Read more
