Really painfull burning rash under left armpit. Haven't changed anything but been drinking lots of lemon water. What could it be? No itching just pain
I used the salt stone in my armpits. I got a burning rash and quit using it. I have been putting neosporin on it for a week. How do I heal this?
Vaseline ointment: The abrasions from using a coarse salt stone can be very uncomfortable. I would avoid using neosporin (or triple antibiotic ointment) because you can develop an allergy to one of the ingredients in neosporin (most likely neomycin or bacitracin). Neuropathy: Sounds like a nerve problem, so we'd call it neuropathy. It can be caused by anything damaging a nerve. Shingles or herpes can do this, but if it has been going on for 2 weeks I'd expect there to be spots or bumps or something showing on the skin by now. Sorry to hear you've been dealing with rash issues. There are glands under the arm pit that can commonly become clogged and become infected. We have larger glands there that you wouldn't find elsewhere, like say your forearm. If you shave, it is also common to get ingrown hairs. Usually these issues are self resolving.
