Burning sensation in center of back between shoulder blades, & upper abdomen, comes and goes. Can this be pinched nerve, acid reflux or something more?

Get eval: 2 years is along time to be dealing with a burning pain in your abdominal area. See a dr and get some testing to determine what is causing your sensations. Diverticular disease is a possibility, but a good colon exam, including a screening scope can be diagnostic. If your colonoscopy is normal, than you can look at other possible causes. This could be gynecologic such as an ovarian cyst, endometriosis, salpingitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc. This could be related to the colon such as diverticulitis. It could be many things. Is it worsened or relieved by eating? Worse with exercise? Exercise induced suggests musculoskeletal, food induced (especially fat) suggests gallbladder problems. You are already on Prilosec that should help with peptic problems.

Stop any non-prescribed nsaid's (aspiriin, advil, aleve, (naproxen) motrin, etc.) ; start an otc acid reducer (like Prilosec otc, Prevacid 24hr). Reflux: It sounds like you are having reflux symptoms. You can try over the counter prilosec. Here are some other suggestions to decrease reflux. Eat smaller meals. Possible: It is possible. Pregnancy does cause nausea often referred to as morning sickness. This can have varying degrees of intensity and timing. However, usually gets better as more time progresses into the pregnancy and esp by the 3rd trimester.
