Burning sensation in center of back between shoulder blades, & upper abdomen, comes and goes. Can this be pinched nerve, acid reflux or something more?

Many possibilities: Several problems could cause abdominal burning sensation but the most common would be stomach irritation (gastritis) or even stomach ulcers. Also possible would be gallbladder problems, cramps, or other intestinal problems. Get eval: 2 years is along time to be dealing with a burning pain in your abdominal area. See a dr and get some testing to determine what is causing your sensations. Diverticular disease is a possibility, but a good colon exam, including a screening scope can be diagnostic. If your colonoscopy is normal, than you can look at other possible causes. Women are mystery: Left pelvic pain in women is non-specific. This could be gynecologic such as an ovarian cyst, endometriosis, salpingitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc. This could be related to the colon such as diverticulitis. Whether pregnant or not makes a difference. Always have stabbing pains evaluated emergently. Pains when pregnant are even more concerning. Could be a kidney stone. Seek evaluation. ...Read more

See a doctor!: Hi. I assure you I don't know what you have from the description, but if by "burning up" you mean high fever, my advice would be to see a doctor sooner than later!
