I am having a burning pain on my lower back right side. Also behind my right knee to my heel hurts, plus my right leg jumps uncontrollably and painful. Sometimes it hurts to walk and I am unable to get comfortable nor sleep. What could this be?

17 yr-old competitive golfer with right low back deep burning pain on and off for 7 months. CT and 2 MRIs were negative. What to evaluate next.....?
Nerve root: Although CT/MRI are good for obvious nerve damage, muscular and soft tissue injuries are not as easily to pinpoint, as well as stretching of nerve roots and the resultant pain - I suggest symptomatic treatment including appropriate physical therapy, rest, and medication, if appropriate from your provider if choiceSee 9 more doctor answers
Burning pain in my low abdomen...with low back pain...not sever though...no other symptoms. Everything else normal?
Needs formal eval: Burning type pain can mean nerves being directly effected. Combining low back and abdominal distribution can mean a problem in the "retroperitoneal" area (behind the bowel, where the kidneys are). Some concerning problems can be there. So, you need formal evaluation of this. How long have you had it? This will make a difference to the doctor during your evaluation.
I've had low back pain for 3 years. Neck pain for 6 months. Headaches. Sometimes I get burning pain along spine/mid back. And tingly fingers.???
Back pain and CTS: It sounds as if you suffer from low back and neck pain. The pain may originate from arthritic joints of the spine (facet joints) or the strained muscles. You really should discuss with Pain Dr who will determine the exact source of your pain and treat accordingly. The tingling fingers may be carpal tunnel or sign of spinal issues. Treatment includes PT, meds, injections or CAM

May be sacroiliac: Sorry you are suffering from this...There are several common causes of sciatica including sacroiliac joint irritation or a herniated disk. If your pain does not get better, if numbness affects the crotch, or if you have bowel or bladder difficulty, then you may need a surgical evaluation, otherwise your primary care provider or physiatrist +/- physical therapist can help with definitive treatment.See 3 more doctor answers
I have had a burning pain off and on for 3 years now that is felt in my lower back on my right side that travels a lot of time into my stomach area? O
Low back: Burning discomfort in the right low back area radiating to the lower abdomen may be caused by irritation of a nerve root in the vertebral region due to disc disease. Kidney pathology may radiate to the groin. Radiation from low back toward the upper abdomen is quite unusual. See your MD or a neurologist for evaluation as needed and appropriate tests or referral will be ordered.
Sharp, burning pain left flank side near rib cage, can't take deep breaths, also burns towards my lower back...! any idea's?
Neurocostal: Sharp ; burning pain seems neuropathic and radiation pattern around flank of lower chest suggests neural impingement at costal vertebral junction. Inspiration ; costal lift would be expected to intensify this pain. Perhaps a rib-vertebra subluxation is at play. Absence of cough, fever, ; shortness of breath discount pneumothorax ; infection. Pleurisy certainly a concern. Doctor's exam a must.See 1 more doctor answer

Nerological: Sounds like you have a few different issues first of all sounds like your neck is bad. In otherworldly some degenerative disease in the neck causing the left side issues to the upper extremity wrt the right leg thus seems to be coming from the lower back. Globus hystericus. Belly bloating, burning sensation, gurgling noises. Pinching feeling at sides and on the sides of the bellybutton. Lower back ache?
Could it be stress?: When taken together, globus sensation ("feeling of a lump"), air swallowing with resulting belching, & dry mouth/ throat are most consistent with stress/anxiety. So can be your "gurgling noises & pinching (poorly localized as described)." Managing your stress (& reasons for same) may be your key to relief. To be sure however get evaluated to rule out organic or motility disorders here.

Sharp burning pain that comes and goes on lower left side of my back. Bulging lumbar disc starting to hurt againbut both at diff times. Related or no?
Lower right side of back down to right foot is numb to hot/cold sensation. No pain, occasional burning sensation. Had lumbar MRI, normal. What is this?
Need more info: Back pain is multifactorial. More historical information, examination & possible lab/radiographic studies are needed to really nail down the cause. Burning in the low back and pelvis would concern me regarding an inflammatory or neuropathic process. See your doctor; good luck.
See pain management: Specialist. Nerve impingement can be caused by being sandwiched between two spinal bones, pressed by a bulging. It can cause muscle spasm and back pain, dizziness and nausea. Prevention treatment is always recommended. This condition must be professionally managed. See interventional pain management specialist for definitive diagnosis and management.See 1 more doctor answer
Burning pain in lower back that comes goes for 3 weeks. Had a uti infection gone now. Pain in lower back still there. Comes at random.?
Could be infection: Still, or musculoskeletal pain. If there is more odor and frequent discharge unrelated to frequency of menstrual flow, then it's likely to still be an infection. If you use your back a lot or strain it easily, then have it checked out by a healthcare provider to treat properly so it doesn't keep coming back. Other possibilities include kidney stones or pregnancy -- check a pregnancy test.
