Given levaquin (levofloxacin) and antibiotic shot in rump for pneum. Now having severe pain in hip joint on injection leg also shoulder pain. Is this side affect?

Not normally from: Levaquin (levofloxacin). Some people will have myalgias from intermuscular injections, but not joint pain as often. There is evidence linking Levaquin (levofloxacin) and development of neuropathy, but usually a single dose would not cause it and most likely not in the shoulder. You may have inflammation from the pneumo irritating past arthritis. Pay attention to any other unusual symptoms and check back with your doc. ...Read more

Labral tear: If the ct scan shows a well reduced fracture you may need an MRI to look for a labral tear. The labrum is a ring of cartilage around the acetabulum that may be torn at the time of your fracture. This would not show up on ct scan and require an MRI to be seen. If this is the case you may need a hip arthroscopy. There may also be a focal cartilage injury. ...Read more

Hip pain radiated up right abdomen. Also does the same on left abdomen. Activity worsens it. More of sore/burning pain. Been present for 6 months?

May not be hip.: This can happen but is unusual. Hip pain usually is most pronounced in the groin and radiates down towards the knee. It is rare to have it radiate up to the abdomen. You should see a doctor with experience in this type of problem and be certain of the cause of the pain. Once the diagnosis is certain it will be much easier to decide on a treatment. Possibly a sciatica: A sciatica is caused by an irritation of a nerve in the back that then can cause pain that runs down the leg like you are describing.
