Interesting: That is an unusual situation. The belly button can accumulate debris/sweat and may have developed an irritation. There are some oily glands there. Clean well with mild soap/water. If redness apply a little bit of neosporin with a qtip. If not better in AM or worsens rapidly see MD to make sure not an infection.
