1. Could be infection is very painful and spreads quick in fingers - since it is ring finger could have started off as allergy to metals - pain will not be tolerable will require medical help

Although NOT "completely explained" a UNDERACTIVE THYROID GLAND may be the culprit...a simple blood test will confirm/exclude

Unclear polyarthriti: The RF (Rheumatoid factor) assay -which is, I assume the "RA factor"- varies widely from lab to lab, so I am not sure if 8.6 IU/mL is in the reference range or not (the lab should give both the result and the ref range).
