Likely nerve injury: Sounds like a nerve injury, which are common. Is the burning in the same finger that was cut? If so, you likely cut the nerve in the process. If not, you may have crushed the nerve at the same time you got the cut. Usually, these nerve injuries heal with time, but can take months. Just a thought: Although NOT "completely explained" a UNDERACTIVE THYROID GLAND may be the culprit...a simple blood test will confirm/exclude

Unclear polyarthriti: The RF (Rheumatoid factor) assay -which is, I assume the "RA factor"- varies widely from lab to lab, so I am not sure if 8.6 IU/mL is in the reference range or not (the lab should give both the result and the ref range).
