Multiple causes: There is no age listed which could help a bit in differentiating cardiac pain from muscle ache. I think no matter what you should see a doctor get a chest x ray as well these can come from a number of causes. Have it checked out: It sounds like you have a series of "lumps" or lymph nodes that are painful particularly on your left side. You should have it checked out to make sure there isn't an infection going on. Don't forget that the lymph nodes act as a drainage and filtration system to try to stop infection.
