Burning Feeling In The Sternum
Introducing bland foods back into my body after 2 weeks of not eating, now getting a burning feeling right below the sternum and slight nausea.
I have a burning feeling below sternum in top of abdomen every day for 2 weeks all day could anxiety cause this?
I've had a fluttering or rushing feeling or right side below rib lately. Today, I have burning or a cramping feeling in sternum. Gallbladder problem?
Gallbladder pain: Typical pain form the gallbladder occurs in the abdomen below the right ribs in the front and sometimes below the breast bone. It radiates to the back. Worse about 30-60' after eating, especially with fatty foods. Crampy in nature, variable severity. See your primary care provider of a more complete evaluation. Not everyone is typical. Hope this helps!
Im 20. Have a tight type of feeling on and off under sternum around xiphoid. Occasional burning acid feeling in upper stomach/chest. What could it be?
Consider this...: If you're indicating your epigastrium (just below the ribs in the midline), then you may have peptic disease (e.g. ulcer, gerd, reflux) or contractions or delayed emptying of the gut in that location (stomach, mid-colon). Less likely (& appropriate to symptom duration, intensity, timing, risks) your gallbladder or pancreas may be sick. Best to get checked.
Ears, mouth, chest, sternum, lower ribs, & abdomen all have a sharp stabbing & burning feeling. Change in bm is the only other difference. Causes?
Pain: It sounds like pain all over. Unfortunately, this is not enough to direct you to a diagnosis. Either you will need to provide more data about your condition or you will need to see a local doc for that.See 1 more doctor answer
Lump feeling in throat when swallowing, throat clearing, burning sore feeling at back of gullet, front central pain in chest/sternum area, gut pain?
Too much: Sorry - don't think a snap diagnosis is going to happen. You need evaluation. Hope you feel better.
I have reflux.. I take omprozole 40mg.. I had a bad flare up two days ago.. and I have been experiencing burning in the chest.. a nervous feeling in m?
Reflux: Often prilosec has to be taken twice a day to control reflux symptoms. Alcohol, caffeine and nicotine may override the medication. Also, oily and greasy foods can produce reflux. Nexium or protonix may be more effective for this flare up. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate and treat you if your symptoms aren't controlled or the cause or diagnosis is in question.
I have a stabbing pain on the left side of my chest it comes and goes. Its never constant. But I also get a burning feeling on the left side also?
Get checked out: it may just be a pinched nerve in your neck but I would get it checked out. It is hard to be sure without further work up.
I workout at night and sometimes I wake up the next morning feeling nauseous and a burning sensation in between the middle of my chest, why is that??

SERIOUS: Get seen! when you say: 'can't keep down water' , this will lead to dehydration, so this is a serious situation. You may have an esophageal (food pipe) obstruction due to stricture (scar) or tumor. The chest burning suggests esophagitits (esophageal inflammation) which can be caused by acid reflux or yeast infection (candida). You may need scope (egd) & acid blocker (ppi) hope you get well soon!See 1 more doctor answer
Get examined: Your symptoms requires a physicial examination and further testing.
Hello I have recently been feeling what i can only describe as a burning sensation on my shoulders and just above my chest what could this be?
GERD: You could be suffering frm gastroesophageal reflux. Consult your doctor.
Hello IV been having a burning feeling on the left side of my chest when i cough and it feels like a pulling pain as well just asking lower addom ?
Burning chest pain: Chest pain can be a symptom from the lungs like pneumonia or asthma or from the esophagus like from acid reflux. It's also possible to be related to a heart condition. Sometimes abdominal pain can be "referred" pain from the lower lobes of the lungs. Chest x-ray could be a useful tool for evaluation. Good idea to see your doctor.
See details: If you are talking about heartburn, it is much more likely due to medications than to the underlying disease.
Hi its to my wife she is suffering from chest burning and had pain in neck and not feeling wel since four days why its so?
Get checked: She needs to get checked to see if this is a heart problem or esophagitis. If the neck pain is in front, it's likely part of the same problem as the chest pain. If neck pain is in the back, it may be an unrelated problem. If the pain is just on one side or the other, it could be she is developing shingles.
Whenever eating some oily or spicy food it's always feeling of burning or like acidity in chest. Is this a big problem or there is any treatment.Plz h?
Acid = Burning: I doubt the gaviscon is causing the burning. Reflux of acid is most likely leading to irritation and inflamed esophageal tissue. If you want to try another antacid it may be time to experiment with the other products out there. If you have pain while on antacids you need to see a gastroenterologist urgently.
Hi, I have a real bad burning feeling in the middle of my chest. what can possibly be causing this?
GERD: Gastroesophageal irritation due to acid coming up your esophagus. This may also cause swallowing difficulties. May want to see your doc.
I have a burning feeling in my chest its very mild but have had it for two weeks, smoked on and off for two years?
Burning chest: This may represent reflux from your stomach. However since you are a smoker, you warrant an exam and CXR. If all is OK your doctor may put you on a pill for stomach acid. All the best.
