So can be your "gurgling noises & pinching (poorly localized as described)." Managing your stress (& reasons for same) may be your key to relief. Need more info: How bad is it? Is the pain on the surface at the rib or deep in the abdomen? Does it come and go or change with coughing? Does it move? Does it radiate anywhere else? What makes it worse? Activity? Eating? Did you injure yourself? Ulcers, gastritis, reflux can do this. Other symptoms? Fevers? Chills? Change in bowel movements? Nause? If so, see a doctor. Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts. If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain. My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx. Buttock pain could be coming from back, hip or SI joint. Further w/u needed. ...Read more
