Could occasionally feeling a sensation of burning drops falling on my hand when I put pressure on my arm by laying on it be a symptom of neuropathy?

Could occasionally feeling a sensation of burning drops falling on my hand when I put pressure on my arm by laying on it be a symptom of neuropathy?

Maybe: It depends on how long the pressure is on the arm before you have the sensation. If it occurs rapidly then there could be a problem. If it takes a while then it may be a normal reaction due to decreased blood flow from the pressure on the arm. The other possibility is it could stem from your depression, as many sensory symptoms can be due to significant depression. See your doctor.

Edema: Edema is the medical word for swelling. It is a description, a symptom and not a disease. You will need to see a doctor in person, to investigate the cause.

Go to ER.: You may be having a heart attack and thus it is only prudent for you to get checked out ASAP. In the future, you will likely get a better answer by providing your age and more details about your health (age, weight, diabetes, high cholesterol, blood pressure) etc.

Burning feeling around bone from inside, elbow to wrist + pain when flexing wrist at inside joint. Result of horse bolting while holding a lead rope.

Poss tendon strain: It sounds like you may have strained the flexor muscles or elbow ligaments. As long as its minor pain give it a few day and use cold packs over the area. If it gets worse or doesn't start to get better after 5-7 days you may want to see a doctor.

You need evaluation: There can be many causes for this. You need to see a dermatologist, but it needs to be considered that this could be an allergic reaction to something. Ask your physician to have you see a dermatologist.

I hit the bottom and right above left elbow. I got really bad burning funny bone pain from it and now half my hand has lost some feeling.

Nerve damage: Hopefully this will be temporary, but you did some damage to the nerve (s) that run between your elbow and hand. If it doesn't clear up soon or if it gets worse, you might be wise to see a doctor for an exam. I hope it's getting better already, or if not, that it will soon. Be careful! Best wishes!

Herpetic sore on han: Verify the diagnosis and that not foot mouth/ dermatitis herpetiformis, chronic vesicular hand dermatitis, pompholyx, prophyria, pemphygoid. If herpes do not touch eyes, leads to eye infection. If recurrent herpes, consider lysine 500 mg a day for prevention or Valtrex/ Acyclovir x 1 year. Consider underlying conditions that cause recurrence (like autoimmune dx). Follow with dermatologist

Neuroma: Burning in the ball of the foot is indicative of a neuroma, inflamed nerve from irritation from tight and narrow shoes or trauma to forefoot. Treatment usually is reducing the swelling in the nerve: ice, elevating the foot, Motrin or even a steroid injection into the swollen nerve in the foot. An x-ray can be taken to rule out stress fracture. Burning can also be neuropathy if you have diabetes.

I have tingling in my arm and hand in  2 smallest fingers and by a sort of burning pain and loss of feeling in left arm only for last few months?

Get checked: Most probable cause of your pain seems to be from a pinched nerve in the neck. Although you are somewhat young for this to happen, sudden heavy lifting, sudden twisting of the neck or an accident of anysort could be the cause. You may need Xray or MRI followed by possible phsical therapy, medications and nerve blocks. In severe or persistant cases, a surgery is indicated to reduce the compression

Residuals of dentals: So sorry you're feeling this way. From your conditions listed certainly it would appear that your symptoms should have something to do with the dental problems you were having. Has that tooth been since extracted? Have you spoken with the dentist or oral surgeon about your current status? If you'd like to look me up at: www. Healthtap. Com/drsaghafi KeyCode: PDXFNR we can speak in more depth.

Recently I developed a burning blister type of skin rash on my calf. Reddened and very sore (burning) feeling I also have blisters on my 1 hand palm.

Not clear: This sounds like shingles, but it could be another type of blistering rash. This is something which you need to take to your physician and maybe a dermatologist just to let them clarify what this rash is. There are different types of herpes virus and there's also some blistering forming illnesses that need to be clarified

Many possibilities: I can't diagnose you at a distance, but I'm wondering if you didn't just have a panic attack. If this happens again and becomes a problem, get with your personal physician. Check your blood pressure now if you are able. Best wishes.

Occasionally I get symptom that feels like small burning drops are falling on my hand when pressure is put on my arm, when laying in bed. Serious?

Don't sleep on it: At times when people lay down to rest they put pressure on limbs and this could impinge on a nerve or blood flow, which would resolve after pressure is relived. The tingling or burning sensation that you describe is your body's way of telling you to move the limb to release the pressure.

Nerve Compression: What you are describing is nerve compression. The numbness in the hand is usually due to a nerve root compression (c-6). The burning and pin/needles is also due to the compressed nerve. Need to see your doctor and get treatment. Usually it is a combination of medications.
