Depends: I would like to know where the pain starts. If it originates at the buttock it is possible that the problem could be coming from the back despite not having back pain. My advice would be to get an EMG to rule out a radiculopathy, consider imaging of L-spine and Right Hip, and based on these results decide further tx. Buttock pain could be coming from back, hip or SI joint. Further w/u needed. ...Read more

There : There are several different possibilities for this: 1. If you are having pain when you walk, it could be a morton's neuroma (this is a benign-noncancerous condition). It is basically a nerve ending that gets too big. It does not hurt if you push on it and is treated with steroid injection. 2. If it hurts when you walk, it could be plantar fasciitis also. This is usually more of the whole bottom of the foot that hurts. 3. It could be a neurologic issue; your nerves are sending messages for some reason that are abnormal. You should have a medical evaluation by a family practitioner or internist to get their opinion. ...Read more

If your shoes are consistently wet and you are wearing no or wet socks, you may be causing some shearing forces (think about 2 sheets of paper rubbing over each other) this can cause a burning sensation and blisters! bring an extra pair of dry socks and shoes, in addition to some water shoes to see if this helps.
