Use water/dilute juice (up to 1.5 liter/day), fiber, stool softner, laxative, less solid food, walking to achieve goal. Time for a visit: I would take the kid to urgent care or the er now. With that history, the potential for certain parts of the intestines to stick to each other and possible bind or twist will remain a possibility.
