Time to see your doc: Chest pain described as burning that is not relieved with antiacids needs medical attention. Otc meds such as prevecid, tums, prilosec, zantac can be tried, but if it continues, you may have something else, like a stricture or severe peptic ulcer or bleeding ulcer. You will need carafate (sucralfate) and other prescription meds. You may need a scope to verify the problem. You may need a test for h.Pylori. ...Read more

GERD, PFTs: Sounds like you would have been evaluated for reflux with all testing you have had but it can cause burning chest pain. If you think it is your lungs then pulmonary function tests could give you more information than the CT scans. ...Read more

With burning: Chest pain i will think of gerd causing heartburn and esophageal spasm causing even pressure chest pain. Another possibility is anxiety/panic attack. See your doctor for a better assessment through history and physical. ...Read more

Not related: Your right sided pain may come from the cervical spine and i urge you to consult an orthopedist before things get worse. As for your asthma, you need a controller drug (usually an inhaled steroid) on a daily basis and again this needs to be prescribed by your doctor. Workup mgt: These symptoms may be related to Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD), especially given the relationship between the pain and eating. GERD: Acid reflux is a separate problem and unfortunately in many cases patients suffering from gallbladder disease suffer from GERD as well and symptoms may be more noticeable now because they might have been attributed to gallbladder problem previously.
