30mg buspirone a day for 2 weeks now. I was currently on 150mg wellbutrin (bupropion). I have insomnia from wellbutrin (bupropion) and in the last week i feel depressed?
Back to your Dr.: Insomnia is one of the common side-effects of wellbutrin (bupropion) . Buspirone is an anti-anxiety which takes 4 to 6 weeks sometimes to take effect. Go back to your doctor and see if he can prescribe an antidepressant which can also help you sleep. Your doctor may also be able to adjust the time you can take your antidepressant because you have daytime drowsiness. ...Read more
Im taking Zyban about 3 weeks and Im also prescribed Zopiclone 7.5mg as i suffer from insomnia. 3days ago the Zopiclone stopped working. Please help?
Activation: Its conceivable that the Zyban (which is considered to be an activating antidepressant because it increases physical energy) would be reducing the beneficial effect of the Lunesta on sleep. Do contact your physician and let them know of this problem - it should be easy to fix. ...Read more

Can wellbutrin (bupropion) be an alternative to strattera? Strattera helped with anxiety, but caused bad headaches and insomnia. Would wellbutrin (bupropion) be better?
Can be used: Strattera is an adhd medication (not for anxiety). Wellbutrin (bupropion) is sometimes used for the off label treatment of adhd although it is not a first line choice. I take geodon, (ziprasidone) wellbutrin, and propanolol. The doctor i see refuses to help with my insomnia. So i smoke pot to help me sleep. Will they interact?
Not wise to do so: They could all work at cross purposes. While medications that are prescribed are designed to produce some regulation and stabilization of neurotransmitters, smoking pot pushes others. Not a great solution to insomnia at all. Cognitive behavioral therapy could help. Consider asking 4 referral to a clinical psychologist see: http://cpancf.Com/articles_files/insomniabasicguide.Asp. ...Read more

Probably not: if you do not have Parkinsonism Or rls. I am not sure why you would need mirapex or simemet in combo with Wellbutrin (bupropion). All 3 are dopamine agonists and could contribute to insomnia. I have used mirtazepine or paroxetine in combination with Wellbutrin (bupropion). Both are antidepressants and usually sedating, but discuss with prescribing doc. There may be some other reason you are on the mirapex ...Read more

Prescribing: Some people feel that a separate medication should be given to "combat" each symptom -- rather than investigating causes or seeing systemic inter-relationships. Is this maybe you?
