Insect Bite Allergy: Most probably it is insect bite with cutaneous allergic response. He might have scratched it which is causing oozing. Keep the area clean, give some anti itch medicine / cream. Shaving?: Are you shaving your legs? Shaving can irritate the hair follicles and cause a bumpy rash. If there is any pus in the bumps it could be a skin infection called folliculitis. Folliculitis needs antibiotics, if it just irritation from shaving, you might want to try a different product and shaving less often. I hope this helps. ...Read more

Could be minor...: Dermatology is all about appearance. I am guessing it is an erythematous papule ("red bumpy"), which honestly could be an insect bite, or contact dermatitis, both of which are common. However you mention pregnancy; there is a condition called PUPPP: Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy, which are terribly itchy red bumps!
