Bumpy Itchy Skin Rash
I developed a red itchy subsequently bumpy skin rash after using tea tree oil on toenails. The rash is on the top and between toes, now shiny.
Allergic reaction: It seems you may be allergic to the tea tree oil and it may have dripped on and between the toes causing the rash and itching. Discontinue using it and topically apply a cortisone cream. You can also take oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine). If this does not resolve, see your podiatrist. ...Read more

Probably no STD: Syphilis can cause a body-wide rash, but not hive-like and usually not itchy. If you think you're at risk for STDs, get tested. But an STD is not a likely cause of this rash. Most rashes like this are due to drug allergy -- which could include an STD drug if you're on treatment. In that case, contact the doctor treating you. Good luck! ...Read more
White blotches on palms. itchy skin rash all over. white tongue. Itchy pubic area Had unprotected oral sex. Itchy bumps on cheeks and chin. Help plz?
Itchy skin rash all over body (except for face, neck, palms and soles) for 14 days. NO fever, NO flu-like symptons, NO lymph node. Can it be HIV ARS?
Rash: It sounds more likely that it is an allergic reaction to something. The fact that it is not on the palms and soles of your feet makes other bad things less likely. Skin rashes are hard to diagnose and the diagnosis depends on where the rash is, the color, whether there are blotches, raised bumps and many other things. You can buy benadryl (diphenhydramine) in the pharmacy for itching and if it persists see DR. ...Read more
Scarlet Fever?: Fever? I was taking Thyronorm 50mcg for 2 years, last month switched to Levothyroxine 50mcg. After 4 weeks, I developed itchy skin rashes all over body. Why?
I have itchy skin rash both inner thighs and worried whether its herpes. It goes and comes back again in a week or so.
Rash: Rashes are difficult to diagnose without being seen. Is it flat, pebbly, blistery? How long present? How large an area involved? Any contact with poison ivy personally or a pet? Any exposure to ticks? Any exposure to measles/chickenpox/etc? See pcp for evaluation & treatment of rash. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is allergy an inborn condition?I never had an unpleasant skin allergy(very itchy skin rashes) before until I turned 21.
Yes and no: While you may be born with a propensity toward developing allergies genetically, you actually have to be exposed to an allergen before you become allergic to it. It could happen the first time you are exposed or the hundredth. I, like you, did not start having hayfever symptoms until I was in my 20's. Yet every fall when ragweed is out, symptoms start unless I take my meds during that time of year ...Read more

Itchy skin rash on back of thighs for over a year using steriod cream but comes back after a week each time. Also using dermol 500 in shower?
Agree and...: You don't give us much information but is it small sandpaper "goosebumps"? If so, may be keratosis pilaris which is famous for coming back again & again. This rash is caused by keratin plugs in hair follicles and is worse in winter & in those with dry skin, eczema. When you see the doctor, they would treat it with retin a, or cream with vitamin d, urea, lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
