Sacrum n lower back pain doc said may be caused by a double loop cyst at s2 (racepinephrine). Suggested surgery. Why do some cysts cause symptoms but others don't?

Not sure what you : Mean by "double loop cyst." he may be referring to a benign incidental finding (usually noted on your lumbar spine mri), which are mostly asymptomatic called tarlov cysts, which are perineurial cysts. Only on very rare occasions could this be the cause of your symptoms. So go have a spine surgeon evaluate you and give you a better answer after a physical examination and review of your mri. ...Read more

Hi, for a while now I've had from what I can feel bump on the back of my head. It isn't painful and I don't have symptoms. should I get it checked out?

Yes...: You probably ought to have your doctor take a look at it just to be certain it is nothing to worry about. That way, you will hopefully find out what it is and get it treated, if necessary. Need more info: How big are the bumps? How long have you had them? Are these growing? Is there any bleeding from the bumps? What you think are bumps may be part of the normal anatomy of your tonsil.
