Bumps On Lower Stomach
I have noticed a purplish bump on my lower stomach. Then i touch it, it doesn't hurt but sometimes it sticks to my jeans and it hurts. What is it?
Can u tell me what the bumps o my lower stomach is? They are red and big I have had they for about 3 months and I have tried everything but they will not go anywhere. They turn purple when they been there for awhile they are right were my pants go.

Could be: Hair follicles can get inflammed, become tender and have pus without being infected (simple pimple). Often symptoms resolve within 1-2wk. Pih occurs as a result of inflammation to skin. Acne, folliculitis secondary to shaving, bug bites etc.. All can lead to inflammation and pih. Pih can take a long time to fade. Pityriasis: What you are describing sounds like pityriasis rosea. It is not serious nor contagious. The cause of pityriasis has yet to be uncovered although some believe it is viral. The rash from pityriasis usually lasts about 6-8 weeks and goes away without treatment. If it is itchy you can try OTC Benadryl. Avoid hot showers, they can make the rash worse.
