Folliculitis.: This is an example of folliculitis. There are a couple of ways to treat this--topicals such as topical antibiotics or topical corticosteroids. However, a more definitive treatment for this pesky condition would be to have laser hair removal. Bump on scrotum: Does it feel like its near the surface? If so - sounds like a small sebaceous cyst. I would try warm compresses - and see whether it resolves on its own - if its small you can certainly try squeezing it - if its red and tender and large you may need some antibiotics. It can happen: Even w/o sexual activity, women can develop lesions on the vulva. Some are allergy or auto-immune in nature. Many are infectious in nature. The most common would be either an infected hair follicle (esp if you shave) or infected sebacceous cyst (basically a pimple).
