Bumps On Face After Chemical Peel
I've had a tca 7% salicylic 2 % chemical peel done on my face, about 6 weeks ago. And now I'm getting small bumps on my face, same colour as my skin. Ideas?

Could be milia...: Without examining you, it is difficult to say what it is you are describing. It may be milia. Milia are harmless, small white bumps or cysts that show up on typically on the face. They occur when flakes of skin get trapped near the surface of the skin. Often seen in newborns, they often resolve spontaneously. Keratosis pilaris: Keratosis pilaris is a common condition where one gets rough bumps on the back of the arms and/or anterior thighs. It is purely a cosmetic issue and there is no harm in having them. Unfortunately, there is no cure. Typically, the hair follicle gets plugged resulting in rough flesh- or pink-colored bumps. I find products like avene thermal spray and moisturizers such as the skinmedica tns ceramide to be quite helpful in hydrating during this portion of your recovery. In a real pinch, you could take an oral antihistamine such as zyrtec or even apply topical Cortaid (hydrocortisone) for more relief. Read more

A little: Deep acne scars are difficult to completely remove. Chemical peeling will help some, but the best results are with fractional laser skin resurfacing.
