It looks like I have actinic cheilitis, I have trouble swallowing and have bumps on the back of my tongue and my epiglottis is visible. What's wrong?

The symptoms you describe may be due to silalolithiasis (stones in the salivary glands or ducts). Stones can form in the ducts that drain the glands, for unknown reasons. The stone (s)will often pass on their own. If secondary infection occurs antibiotics may be needed.

Your wisdom tooth may be putting pressure in that area, causing discomfort when you swallow. Also, your molar may be chipped, causing an irritation on your tongue. This can also manefest itself as pain on swallowing.
