Bumps Around Cervix
Just came from the doctor cause I was feeling a bump on my cervix but he said he don't see no bump around my cervix but I feel it should I be worried?
Probably not: Your doctor can't feel what you feel, he can only look and tell you what he sees. If your exam was reassuring, I would wait and see if it goes away on its own. If it doesn't go away in 6 weeks or so, you can go back to your doc and say, "Hey, that bump is still there. Can you take a closer look? " Best wishes! ...Read more

May be normal: Most likely this is a Nabothian Cyst, a mucous filled cyst that can travel down from the upper cervix to the surface in young women. Is it normal to have a flap of tissue hanging out of your cervix opening? Polyp pics look more like bumps, this is more like a 'tenticle'
Well, no...: To begin, it's not possible to see one's own cervix unless perhaps a photograph has been provided to you from an exam. It's understandable to confuse the cervix with the vaginal opening or labia minora. Regardless, most growths on a cervix should be removed and examined once identified. So the short answer is no, this should be examined by a doctor who can perform colposcopy/biopsy if needed. ...Read more

Pap procrastination: PP, or Pap Procrastination is a "disease" that afflicts many women who often hear from "official sources" that they can wait and have a pap every 3 to 5 years. Since you had a "abnormal pap" in the first place that advice does not apply to you. Yes, it could be cancer so see a GYN MD without further delay which will at least cure the PP syndrome. ...Read more
