If you hit your finger nail very hard, you will get bleeding under the nail, which may lift your nail up. If none of these are present, and your kid is acting fine, keep a careful watch. For 24 hours, check every 2 hrs for alertness, pupil size and normal movement in face, limbs. Normal, non-emergent signs to expect after a head injury include headache, nausea, irritability, and lack of interest in playing. Trust your instinct, you're never wrong to bring her to er.
