I have multiple lumps/bumps under my jaw and/or upper neck. They don't hurt and move pretty easily. Are these lumps normal?
I have a bb sized bump under my jaw below ear. It's next to the muscle that runs down neck. Not painful. I scratched the inside of ear. & it bled good?

Most swollen glands or lumps under the skin are not cause for concern. The glands (lymph nodes) on either side of the neck, under the jaw, or behind the ears commonly swell when you have a cold or sore throat. More serious infections may cause the glands to enlarge and become very firm and tender.

More info needed.: To answer your question completely, you would need a detailed exam. Based on the features you described, I hypothesize that you are describing a lymph node. TMJ: Pain is most typically not a fatal medical issue and it is not productive to jump to that conclusion as a first thought when you have pain. If there is nothing else going on (neck mass, weight loss, fever etc) i would think this is probably tmj. This is all the more likely if you chew gum, crunch ice, or clench your jaws at night.
