She may have hidradenitis suppurativa, which is recurrent / prolific small abscesses within the axilla. Her Dr should recheck for resolution, and if recurs, send her to a Surgeon for consultation.

I have a bump in my armpit I have to pop it to keep it from hurting and a bunch of pus all ways comes out. What could this be ?

Abscess

Most likely an infected gland. Either a sweat gland or sebaceous cyst. You should be seen by a doctor and get treatment. It may require a surgical removal to cure it.

I have a dimple in my armpit with a lump underneath, doctor told me its scartissue. Theres pus coming from the dimple now, what's wrong?

Abcess?

with pus and drainage, it may be an axillary abcess. Now that it is draining, and things hve changed clinically, let your Dr re-evaluate you. Best wishes.

It is important that you have this swelling checked by a physician or surgeon. It could be an abscess in the skin glands or a more serious problem.

Severe rash in my armpit, can you help me? About a month ago now, I got a large hard lump in my armpit. I left it alone, hoping it would go away. It got bigger and redder and started to hurt. About two weeks ago it ruptured. It had lots of pus and clear,

It sounds as though you may have a skin infection with abscesses or "boils". These usually start out as tender, red areas which become hard and then eventually develop a "head" of white pus. Once this drains, the area usually heals on its own. Most of these are caused by Staphylococcus Aureas, a common bacteria found on the skin. Occasionally, however, the can be caused by MRSA, the antibiotic resistent kind of staph bacteria. If the infection is not getting better after drainage, then you may need antibiotics and should call your regular doctor. Next time you develop one of these infections, start out by applying warm compresses to the area to help draw the infection out. Then, you should go to the doctor so that they can drain it, test for what bacteria is causing it and be able to treat you appropriately - sometimes with antibiotics, sometimes just with drainage. If you ever develop fever, chills, or feel ill with this infection, call your doctor immediately. You can try and prevent these infections by practicing good hygiene and using anti-bacterial soaps. Your doctor may have other suggestions for prevention.

Dr. Greg Hinson answered:

Why do i have small pus bumps in my arm? Its not under my armpits just on arms.

Pus?

Skin
If truly pus, then you probably have a transient infection of the hair follicles called folliculitis. But if you're talking about small, hard bumps with a tiny amount of a waxy substance in them, especially on your upper arms and have chronic dry skin, then this might be the benign hyperkeratosis pilaris, which can respond to exfoliation and regularly using a good moisturizer.

Breast cancer is rare in someone your age but I would not dare recommend anything other than a prompt visit to your family doc or GYN for a good physical. He/she will decide what else to do. Do it soon. Hope all goes well.

I just had blood work done and mind you I had a big boil under my armpit with lots of pus inside it . Well my blood work came back and I had high whit?

High White count

It sounds like you had an abscess, which are not uncommon in the underarm area. A high white count may sometimes be associated, but may be a separate issue. Treatment for the abscess is incision and drainage. Fever, high white count and signs of septicemia may mean antibiotics would be indicated as well, but if related to your abscess the white count should return to normal after drainage.
