Need a bit more info: Lump on the spinous process would not involve nerve. Injury could cause a crushed vertebra and a "hump".TB is rare in the US but that could be a problem, Bone tumors are rare there. A sweat gland (seborrheic) cyst is more common and can be fairly fixed. In any case, a few days-even a week or two-delay should not change your prognosis. No doc for weeks sounds like poor care. Not likely: Not terribly likely, but you are right a spondylolysis can sometimes progress to a spondylolisthesis in which one vertebrae slips forward on the other. I would not hesitate to be seen for an X-ray if you are concerned, particularly if you are having increased pain; but it is pretty uncommon for that to happen. ...Read more

Need more info: its near impossible to diagnose what you have without a proper examination X-rays, and possibly a CT or MRI of the spine. This sounds traumatic, but the severity of the trauma to the vertebrae, discs, and spinal cord cannot be evaluated without more information. Go see an ortho-spine doc ASAP ...Read more
