Unlikely to be a: Fracture based on the description you gave. A fracture will give you significantly worse symptoms than just tenderness. Location?: If it is just below the kneecap at the top of the shin, it may just be the growth/attachment plate ofthe upper leg muscles. New itchy rash: Any new itchy rash can be due to a new medicine, soap, detergent or skin care product. Those are the most likely culprits. Stop any new products.
