Bump On Front Of Shoulder
Should I be worried? Small (pea sized) softish bump on the round part of my right shoulder in the front. No pain. What could this be?
Many possibilities: If it showed up abruptly and has not changes at all, it is most likely a dermatofibroma, which is a benign, stable, scar- like condition. Cysts and malignant tumors can also present this way so it really is best to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. If he or she is not certain, a biopsy will be performed where a small sample is taken and send to the lab under local anesthesia. ...Read more
I think I popped my shoulder whilst biking. I was just a tiny little bump. 3 months on i'm still feeling pain should it really take this long to heal?
3 months seems long: A shoulder injury from biking should be evaluated by a sports medicine doctor or an orthopedic doctor if the injury does not heal up quickly. Perhaps a ligament (holding 2 bones together) was damaged. Sometimes there is impingement, where a ligament or bone is pressing on another ligament or muscle. After initial treatment, physical therapy for a few weeks should help regain normal mobility. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Depends on history -: Whether there is an injury to the shoulder blade area or not; in which it could be a fracture or a pulled/torn muscle. Rarely a tumor of the bone or muscle, blood vessel or nerves, or a ganglion cyst, can present a swelling ( a bump). See your doctor to be properly diagnosed. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Theres a cluster of small bumps with no fluid inside on my shoulder. do you have any idea what it is? its not on any other part of my body.
Is there any kind of device or support that i can wear to help with vibrations and bumps like in the car for the shoulder to keep it more stable?
Probably not...: It all depends on what the cause of the shoulder pain and instability is. If you have an unstable shoulder there is something called a sully brace that can be worn, but other than that, any other brace that would hold your arm still you could not wear while you were driving (if you were the driver). There are also some neoprene wraps that can be put on the shoulder to help, but not for stability. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
