Lump bump: If is truly mobile and not very tender it might be a lymph node which simply needs to be watched for a few weeks. If however it is soft and gooey and painful and makes you want to squeeze it (don't) it might be a cyst or even an abscess. This would require a different approach. You be the judge. Lump: In the back of the neck could be several things. One is lipoma which unless symptomatic need not be take out except for cosmetic reason. It can slowly grow.
