Growing finger lump: A wart is probably the leading cause of enlarging bump with easy bleeding. There are other kinds of mostly benign skin nodules and cysts that could do this, and there are certain malformations of blood vessels that can do this. Sorry to hear that you have been worried. Based on your description, it sound like it is nothing to worry about. If it is a pressure point where you normally grip the pencil or pen, it is probably just a callus. Rest on that area or loosening your grip on the pencil will help it disappear.
