? Blood Clot: You need a detailed examination from a hand and upper extremity specialist. Bulging veins may signify poor venous drainage from your hand, and this could be due to a variety of reasons, including blood clots, thoracic outlet syndrome - to name two.

Not bad: It's unfortunate that you had this reaction, but I doubt that anything bad will happen. Don't worry about the bulging veins unless they get much worse or painful. If you are worried about heart attacks please stop smoking.

Bulging Veins at 16: U need to distinguish Varicose veins from Spider veins. The former r painless, and deeper, darker, while the latter r closer to skin, thin, redder, usually on legs, looking like spider webs. U can do Self-care — such as exercise, elevating your legs or wearing compression stockings — can help you ease the pain of varicose veins and may prevent them from getting worse. See doc if still doubtful

Why do I have very bulging veins on my arms if I don't make any type of exercise?

Genes: Great genetic variation in how big our veins are. I have huge veins in my arms and hands! Count yourself lucky, in case you one day need an IV

Don't stop them!: Therapy directed at the wrist and hands causes increased blood flow to the wrist and hands. If your veins didn't expand to transport all this extra blood back to your heart, then your hands would swell up and become painful. So what you're describing is a sign of an intact, functional circulatory system. Continue the recommended therapy and be proud of your working vascular system.

Is it normal to have bulging veins in your feet, legs, arms, hands if you are skinny and fit for the most part? I'm 24 year old male 158lbs 5"11

Is it normal to have bulging veins in your feet, legs, arms, hands if you are skinny and fit for the most part? I'm 24 year old male 158lbs 5"11

Yes: Skinny people have less subcutaneous fat which makes veins more visible. Men tend to have bigger more noticeable veins and physically active people have larger veins to handle the volume of blood required to oxygenate active peripheral muscle in the body. So active men have bigger veins generally than inactive men and most women and in skinny people veins are more apparent. You are normal.

I have tight bulging veins in my left arm that go away when I raise my arm up. But they also hurt and come with sometimes chest pain?

I have tight bulging veins in my left arm that go away when I raise my arm up. But they also hurt and come with sometimes chest pain?

See your doctor: You need to get a check up because it sounds like you might have something that is causing your veins to bulge, and you may need some special imaging. You can see a peripheral vascular specialist if you have access to someone or see your primary care doctor first. Good luck!

There is a concern: For superior vena cava syndrome. Alfa 1 antitripsin deficits must be treated with replacing the same. Discuss it with your pulmonologist.

Weak: Weak pulse and bulging veins in one limb could indicate a serious problem with the blood vessels in that region. Such problems, which include something called arterial dissection and something called venous thrombosis, could threaten the limb or your life. These sort of symptoms should be evaluated right away. Problems with the large arteries and veins in the neck or in a limb are usually first tested with an ultrasound, using a probe placed on the skin. There is usually no discomfort involved.

TOO V CERVICAL DISC: SX are suggest cervical disc disease vs TOO (THORACIC OUTLET OBSTRUCTION)When you cough, sneeze or hiccup, you increase intrathoracic pressure and flare pain. Please see your doctor and get an MRI of the cervical spine and MRA of RUE to evaluate both conditions. The 2 can overlap and a NEURO CONSULT for EMG (ELECTROMYELOGRAM) may be needed.
