Veins bulging out and pulsating in right temple. Serious? Reason?

Not Sure

Veins
Prominent veins on the temple is common and not serious. It tends to run in families. They are more visible in fit people with fair skin. It is unusual for them to pulsate. I would recommend that you get it checked by a doctor especially if it is associated with a headache.

I'm on BP meds..last few days having severe migraines and bulging veins in my temple area my eyes feel like they're shaking is this BP related?

USUALLY NOT

Assuming that your BP is either under control or minimally elevated, you are not having migraines due to hypertension, but you may be experiencing side effects to you meds. Migraines can be prevented, and would recommend that approach, as triptans, which stop headaches could well raise BP.

Facial veins like hand veins often change in size throughout the day and is due to many factors such as hydration, sun exposure, hereditary, heat, physical activity, stress and anything that would make the veins dilate or constrict. There are also some medical conditions such as heart failure, kidney and liver failure which could contribute but not in a healthy 34 y.o.

Dr. John Landi answered:

Are the veins in your temple supposed to throb when exercising?

Arteries throb.

Img_0604
The temporal arteries and temporal veins lie immediately adjacent to each other. During exercise or increased activity, the arteries will pulsate because of increased heart rate and flow of blood. What you are seeing is the artery pulsation. It looks like the vein pulsating because the vein sits over the artery and can move with the artery.
