During exercise or increased activity, the arteries will pulsate because of increased heart rate and flow of blood. What you are seeing is the arterial pulsation. It looks like the vein pulsating because the vein sits over the artery and can move with the artery. ...Read more

Should i be concerned that I have a large vein or veins bulging on my right temple, but have no headache or pain?

Usually an artery: Usually those large bulging vessels are arteries. Put your index finger lightly over it and see if you feel a pulse? Some patients have sclerotherapy for cosmetic treatment of the blue or purple face veins and laser. For red spider veins. ...Read more

The best bet is to talk to your primary doctor, neurologist, or the surgeon who did the craniotomy. ...Read more
